Located in Terre Haute, Charlie's is a destination restaurant and pub for hungry patrons that are traveling through the area, and a little piece of home for the locals that have been coming here since the 70's.

HISTORY
The spot where Charlie's is located has been serving the south side neighborhood of Terre Haute, IN since the early 30's. Whether as a grocery store as it first started or as today's Pub & Grub, it has been a tradition in supporting the neighborhood. In 1972, when Morris and Betty Tweedy (Tweety) sold the tavern to Charlie and Lois Crispin, Charlie's started serving the "Tweety Burger" to honor Morris; the tradition continues today.
For 20 years, Charlie and Lois ran Charlie's Hide-a-way until they sold it to Kevin and Gail O'Laughlin in 1992. To honor Charlie, the name stayed the same - but, we are no longer hiding! Improvements to the location have secured the business and the tradition to last for another generation. Kevin and Gail owned and operated Charlie's for 22 years and only recently sold it to Cheyne and Nikki O'Laughlin. Excited to be a part of the next generation, Cheyne and Nikki intend to consistently provide quality food, drink, and fun while supporting the local community. We are proud of our neighborhood location and will try to stay true to what we are and what we offer - your neighborhood pub & grub.

Charlie's proudly supports local business and community and believes in preserving the environment by recycling all waste that we create: bottles, cans, cardboard, cooking oil.

Charlie's has the best beer garden and outdoor dining venue in the Wabash Valley. We offer one of the largest craft beer and bourbon selections around, boasting over 100 beers that changes weekly. Charlie's hosts Live Trivia every Monday, live music in the Beer Garden on the weekends, and ask us about joining one of our pool leagues. Charlie's shows all the big games every week and we have plenty of TV's to make sure that don't miss your team playing!
